Sarik misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Thompson scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Sarik slips under a jab from Thompson. Thompson throws a jab but it's blocked by Sarik. Sarik walks into a straight right hand from Thompson. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Sarik tries a head kick but it misses.
Thompson throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Sarik throws a wild body kick that Thompson sees coming a mile off. Thompson connects with a crisp jab. Thompson throws a looping overhand right but Sarik ducks down to avoid it. #T1# Sarik walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Thompson throws an overhand right that lands on Sarik's shoulder, as Sarik tries to avoid the shot. #KD2# Thompson cracks Sarik with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Sarik looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Thompson finish him?
#ROC2# Sarik is rocked! Sarik is aggressively charging in as Thompson backs up avoiding any damage. Thompson tosses out a jab and Sarik runs right into it face first! Sarik is out cold! Thompson dropped down on all fours and is barking in Sarik's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!

#R1# Sarik tries to score a power double leg takedown but Nolan sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Sarik somewhat. Sarik goes for a double leg but Nolan avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Nolan continues to drive forward. Nolan changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Sarik moves to clinch but Nolan breaks away and Nolan connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Sarik cracks Nolan with a right hand to the side of the head. Sarik moves to clinch but Nolan breaks away and Nolan counters with a lovely straight right hand! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sarik switches off momentarily and Nolan cracks him with a monster right hand! Sarik topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Nolan dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Nolan!

#R1# Sarik tries to close the distance and clinch but Witczak swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Witczak is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Sarik with a body shot. Witczak looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Witczak goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Witczak fails to land the takedown. Sarik dives in for a single leg takedown but Witczak sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Witczak keeps the fight on the outside. Witczak let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Sarik shoots in but no luck this time. Sarik tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Witczak manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.#KD# Sarik steps into range and cracks Witczak with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Witczak flops backwards and Sarik dives into his guard looking to finish!
This has been an exciting period of action! Witczak has a closed guard, preventing Sarik from standing up. Sarik loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. #T1# Witczak working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Sarik. Witczak keeping moving, preventing Sarik from controlling successfully. Sarik missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Sarik wants to get up but he can't break Witczak's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.#SUB2# Witczak has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Sarik can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. #REF3# The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Sarik tries to clinch up. Sarik shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Witczak sprawls well. Witczak wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Sarik gets slowly back to his feet. Witczak wants to counter the offense by Sarik and move into the clinch position. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chris Sarik. That's going to take a lot out of him.#T2# My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Sarik tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Witczak keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Horrible takedown attempt by Witczak or perhaps it was just good defense by Sarik, which made it look bad. #KD# Nice combo by Sarik! Oh, that's hurt him - Witczak falls to the canvas and Sarik follows him into side control. #ROC# Witczak is rocked!#CUT# It looks like Piotr Witczak has been cut. Sarik scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Witczak is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Sarik can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!

Allen goes for a takedown in the clinch but Sarik prevents it.
