A nice combination there by Wright .
Wright tries a head kick but it misses.
Smash looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Wright lands a lovely overhand right.
Wright misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Wright uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Smash.
Wright tries to counter by closing the distance.
Smash fails with a takedown attempt.
Smash is looking to clinch but Wright is avoiding it.
Wright uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Smash.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Smash takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Smash gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Smash tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Wright is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Smash buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Smash!! Smash is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Wright throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Oren Wright !

Stek lands a big right hand that sends Smash crashing to the mat! Stek stays standing though and waves Smash back to his feet!#TD2#
Smash looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Smash is thwarting Stek's attempts to control the position.
Stek on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Smash stalling.
Stek trying to hold on to Smash's head to control him but Smash postures up.
Stek is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Smash working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Smash lands a nice short elbow.
Smash passes to side control.
Smash scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Stek to see if he's OK.
Smash has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.#T1#
Stek pushes Smash away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Smash gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Smash cracks Stek with a big right hand but Stek just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Smash works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Smash controls the position.#SUB2#
Smash tries for a kimura but Stek is defending well.
You can see the frustration on Stek's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Smash scoring with punches from side control.
Smash working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Stek takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Smash happy to just control the position for now.

Stek takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Stek is working to avoid the ground and pound but Smash connects with a decent elbow. #SUB2#
Smash is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Stek looks calm but he's in trouble here. Smash gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Stek is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Smash lets go of the hold and Stek can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Hulk Smash!
In his post fight interview, Hulk Smash started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.

Parker drops Smash with a left and a right! Oh, Smash is hurt - Parker dives into side control looking to finish! #ROC#

It looks like Hulk Smash has been cut.
Parker will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.#SU#
Parker stands up and beckons Smash to his feet.
Smash is still on wobbly legs! Can Parker finish him?
Smash glances at the clock... BAM! Parker nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Smash crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Smash is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:07 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Peter Parker!
Peter Parker was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
