Decraps attempts a counter takedown but Alrashed avoids it well and moves away.#TD# Decraps scores with a takedown into Alrashed's guard. Decraps has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Decraps throws a strike but Alrashed rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. #REVB# The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Alrashed's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Alrashed postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Alrashed won't allow Decraps to get back to his feet. Alrashed stands and throws Decraps's legs to the side, diving into side control. Decraps wants to get back to his feet. Decraps knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Alrashed on the ground. The strikes coming from Alrashed are missing the target in this wave of attacks. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Alrashed controlling from side mount. Decraps on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Decraps tries to get out of the position. The referee takes a look at Decraps to see if he's OK. Alrashed lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Check out the look on Alrashed's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Decraps takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

#R1# Nice cross by Ginney. Alrashed shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Ginney counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Ginney clobbers Alrashed with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Alrashed swings widly with a right hand
and Ginney counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Alrashed shoots and misses and Ginney counters with a straight right hand. Alrashed throws a left and a right that both miss
letting Ginney counter with a right hand. Alrashed doesn't succeed with the takedown enabling Ginney to counter with a crisp jab. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rakan Alrashed. That's going to take a lot out of him. Alrashed takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
