Coming up we have a welterweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Tom Jones (ranked 17850 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Tom (ranked 24996 p4p, 0 weight class). Tom Tom acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the welterweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Rio de Janeiro, with a TWGC record of 3 wins and 3 losses; Tom Jones! And in the blue corner, fighting out of London, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Tom Tom! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Nard Betker and Saam Ante.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Nice sprawl there from Jones as Tom shoots in. Jones closes the distance and clinches. Tom tries for a takedown but Jones manages to get underhooks.

Jones has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

#R1# A jab from Eleven finds it's way through Tom's defenses. A kick lands to the mid section there for Tom. Eleven throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Eleven throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Tom tries to score a power double leg takedown but Eleven sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Tom somewhat. Eleven misses with an attempted mid kick.
Tom fails to land the takedown. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tom misses with a takedown and Eleven comes in over the top with a devastating right hand! Tom stumbles back against the cage, looking to regain his senses but Eleven is on him like rabid pit bull! Tom slumps to the ground under a storm of punches and this fight is over!

Halidov throwing strikes from guard but Tom blocks nicely. Halidov throws a strike but Tom rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. #REVB##ES# Halidov manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Halidov lands an uppercut. Halidov pushes off an throws an elbow but Tom leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.#T1# Halidov with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Tom goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Tom throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Halidov tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Tom counters with a one-two to the body. Tom throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Halidov's head. Tom lands a jab-cross combination. #TD# Halidov scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.#ES2# Tom sneaks out the side door and pushes Halidov away - he's back to his feet.
