Abbot has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. With the fighters up against the cage, Quincy throws an elbow but misses. #BC# Quincy escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Quincy stalls. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Quincy tries to circle away but Abbot has him pinned against the cage. Quincy lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. #TD# Mantle manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Quincy trying to control but Mantle is working from the bottom. Quincy not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Mantle tries to land a sweep but no joy. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mantle wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. #SUB# Mantle escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Quincy gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Mantle on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Mantle tries to get out of the position.#T1# Mantle has his hands on Quincy's head, controlling the position. Quincy really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mantle. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Mantle looking to sweep here. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.#SU# Mantle decides to take the fight back to the feet. #T3# Quincy keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. It seemed like Quincy was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Mantle tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Quincy defends well and Mantle ends up having to push Quincy into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Quincy connects with a right hand. Mantle shakes it off. Mantle shoots in for a takedown but Quincy shows good takedown defense. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Graham Mantle. That's going to take a lot out of him. Mantle is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Quincy. Quincy misses with a hook. Mantle ducked under it nicely. #CL# Mantle fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Quincy, pushing him back against the cage. Mantle jumps guard but Quincy stands there with Mantle around his waist. Mantle gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

#T2# Mantle content just to control the position here. Mantle lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Quincy is trying to escape the mount.
Quincy tries to lock up and control but Mantle gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Mantle controlling from the full mount. Mantle punching from mount but Quincy doing a good job of avoiding damage. Graham Mantle overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.#T3# Mantle looking to control and managing it successfully.
