#R1# Ahr misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Jones fails in his attempt to clinch. Ahr fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Jones tries to close the distance and clinch but Ahr swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. #CL2# Ahr instigates a clinch. Jones tries for a takedown. No joy.
Ahr is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Jones to keep the fight standing.#TD2# Ahr wants the takedown. Jones is fighting it off but Ahr persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Jones's guard against the cage. Jones is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. #REVR# Ahr is trying to get back to full guard. Ahr has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Jones is working away from the top position though.#T1# Jones seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jones lands strikes from half guard. Jones not doing much here.
Jones wants to stand but Ahr has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Ahr is in trouble now - Jones has advanced to mount! #T2# A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.#SUB# Jones looking for a guillotine from mount but Ahr is having none of it. Ahr is trying desperately to improve position. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Ahr can do anything to dispel that myth. Jones trying to control but he's not successful this time. Ahr keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Jones controlling the position easily from mount. Ahr really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jones. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Jones dominating with strikes here.#T3# Jones scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Ahr is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. Ahr trying to control but not successfully. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jones biding his time, looking for the opening.

This one might not last much longer. Jones Tightens the hold and Ahr taps out furiously! Jones displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
