Horrible takedown attempt by Rodriguez or perhaps it was just good defense by Cool, which made it look bad.

He's out cold! Rodriguez gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!

Sheeran is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Sheeran passes into half guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Cool can do anything to dispel that myth.

Cool is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Sheeran slows the pace down in half guard.
Sheeran lands strikes from half guard.
Sheeran keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Sheeran prevents Cool from standing back up.
Still in half guard, Sheeran seems content to control.
Sheeran looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Cool with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Sheeran is taking a breather. Cool says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
We've been hearing that Sheeran has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
Sheeran's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.#T2#
