Yamamoto looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Dake misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Dake pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Dake tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Nice uppercut lands for Yamamoto. That snapped Dake's head back.
#TD2# Yamamoto gets caught napping as Dake dives in and scores a takedown. Yamamoto manages to retain guard. Dake is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Dake chips away with some ground and pound. Yamamoto really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SU2# Dake stands up from guard. Let's bang! #TD2# Dake throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Yamamoto was covering up waiting for the punch and Dake finishes the takedown easily into guard. Yamamoto is looking to stand back up but Dake counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Yamamoto. #T1##REVR# Dake works his way into side control. Dake advances to full mount. Dake is in the full mount, landing strikes. Dake content just to control the position here. #T2# Dake lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Dake working away from the top, dropping strikes. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dake is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Yamamoto can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

#R1# Yamamoto throws a right and a left that Sheeran avoids nicely. Sheeran has a takedown stuffed. Sheeran has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Yamamoto is landing a low percentage of strikes. Yamamoto cracks Sheeran with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Yamamoto misses with a series of wild punches.
Sheeran shoots in looking for a takedown but Yamamoto manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Sheeran's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Yamamoto went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Yamamoto falls off balance throwing a combination
#TD2# and Sheeran counters with a nice double leg into side control. Yamamoto won't be happy with that. Yamamoto knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sheeran on the ground. Yamamoto is looking to get back to his feet here but Sheeran is keeping cool and he's managed to take Yamamoto's back. Sheeran is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
#T1# Let's hope that Sheeran has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Yamamoto is trying to stand back up. Yamamoto is covering up but some of the strikes from Sheeran are getting through and doing damage.
#T2# Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Sheeran is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

A bit of a pause in the action here. Sheeran controlling the positon. Yamamoto is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. Sheeran is landing with strikes. Yamamoto can't take much more of this. Sheeran controlling the position well here. Yamamoto rolled but Sheeran kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
Sheeran is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Yamamoto. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped.#T4# Sheeran is riding his opponent, not letting Yamamoto buck him off. Sheeran lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
Yamamoto is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Sheeran.
Sheeran's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Sheeran lands strikes to the head. Yamamoto wants to get back to his feet. Sheeran has good solid back control here. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Sheeran. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

and Yamamoto counters with a straight right hand. Sheeran drops his hands momentarily and Yamamoto takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Yamamoto displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Sheeran. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sheeran fails with the takedown and Yamamoto cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.#T1# Sheeran wants to clinch up but Yamamoto keeps it at a distance. Yamamoto rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Sheeran moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Yamamoto lands an overhand right. Kyler Yamamoto is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Sheeran throws a body punch but Yamamoto moves out of range. Kyler Yamamoto is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Sheeran shoots in but no luck this time. Kyler Yamamoto has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ben Sheeran.#TD2# Sheeran drives through with a takedown into Yamamoto's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Sheeran not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Sheeran has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Sheeran cracks Yamamoto with a solid left hand. Sheeran stays in close to Yamamoto's body and controls the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#T2# More stalling from Sheeran. Ben Sheeran showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. Sheeran is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Yamamoto will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.#SUB2# Sheeran has hold of Yamamoto's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Yamamoto seems comfortable defending it but Sheeran has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Yamamoto is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Yamamoto is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Sheeran couldn't care less - he's delighted!
