It looks like Jim Davis has been cut.
Chris Cicchelli has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jim Davis.
Davis looks winded!
Davis shoots for a double leg takedown but Cicchelli sprawls well. He's pushed Davis's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Davis shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Cicchelli pinned against the cage. Cicchelli gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Davis tries to move into range but Cicchelli moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Davis has eaten all the pies!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
BOOM! Cicchelli lands a beautiful left hook that drops Davis. Davis tries to recover but Cicchelli is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Davis lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
