Jordan lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down McBendy. I was talking to Jordan's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.#BC# Jordan breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. McBendy is looking to clinch. #TD# McBendy gets caught napping as Jordan dives in and scores a takedown. McBendy manages to retain guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. McBendy is adopting a defensive guard. Jordan distracts McBendy with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McBendy working a defensive guard here.

McBendy shoots in but Jordan avoids the takedown attempt easily. Craig Jordan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rubber McBendy. #R1# McBendy moves in looking to clinch but Liddel pushes him off. As McBendy looks to move away, Liddel throws a big counter combo but McBendy just gets out of the way. The fighters circling - McBendy throws out the jab but it was never going to land. McBendy misses with a takedown attempt - Liddel sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.#TD# Liddel closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Liddel working the head with strikes. Liddel tries to stand but McBendy is controlling his head. McBendy is in a bad spot here and he knows it... just holding on for now. Oooos misses with an uppercut. McBendy saw that one coming. Oooos looks for a takedown but McBendy sprawls well.
