Kowalski throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Kindzals head. Kowalski is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Kindzal goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Buchanan fails to land the takedown. Kowalski throws a right and a left that both miss. Buchanan shoots for a takedown but Kowalski saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Buchanan wants to clinch up but Kowalski keeps it at a distance.#CL2# Kowalski forces Buchanan back against the cage and clinches. Buchanan jumps guard but Kowalski turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chase Buchanan. That's going to take a lot out of him. Buchanan tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Kowalski smiles and moves away.

He's obviously looking to slow Kowalski down. Armando tries for a takedown but Kowalski circles away easily and Kowalski counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Armando moves out of range as Kowalski throws a body kick.

Kowalski is positioning himself to get back to half guard. #T2# There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Armando staying calm. Armando trying to control the action but Kowalski is working from the bottom. Armando takes a little break here. Kowalski wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Kowalski really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Armando.
