Johnson is trying hard to land a takedown here. Sobchak sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Sobchak wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Walter Sobchak has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Leon Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kindzal takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Kindzal shoots in for a double leg but Sobchak sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Kindzal shoots in looking for a takedown but Sobchak manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Kindzal's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Sobchak rushes Kindzal with punches - Kindzal moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Kindzal goes down! Sobchak follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!

Hematopoye connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Nou Hematopoye seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hematopoye goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Hematopoye throws a predictable looking body shot
and Sobchak counters with a nice body shot.
Nice defenses there by Sobchak.

Hematopoye takes one on the button.
Hematopoye is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Sobchak.
A little jabbing left from Sobchak on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Sobchak stuffs the takedown attempt from Hematopoye. Hematopoye gets slowly back to his feet.
Hematopoye gets in close and tags Sobchak with a short punch that almost sends Sobchak to the mat! Oh Sobchak is in big trouble! He turns his back on Hematopoye, trying to create some distance but Hematopoye rushes him, striking wildly and Sobchak goes down! The referee tackles Hematopoye into the cage to end the fight! Hematopoye is one violent man!

A very excited looking Nou Hematopoye made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
