We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Vos fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Vos shoots in and drives through. Name sprawls well. Name looks like he wants to counter punch here. Vos darts in looking for a takedown but Name gets double underhooks and turns Vos into the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marc Vos. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Vos with a poor takedown #KD2# and Name counters with a crisp right hand that drops Vos! Name lets Vos back up to his feet, looking for a finish!#ROC2#Vos is rocked!#CUT2#It looks like Marc Vos has been cut. #R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wonder misses with a hook. Vos ducked under it nicely. Vos feints the counter takedown. Vos tries for a takedown but Wonder circles away easily and Wonder counters with a straight right hand. Vos looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Vos shoots in but no luck this time. Wonder jabs Vos right on the nose. Vos blinks but takes it well. Wonder misses with a body shot
#TD2# and Vos counters with a single leg into guard. Wonder didn't expect that. Vos trying to control the position from guard on top but Wonder is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Wonder has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#ES# Wonder kicks Vos off and gets to his feet. #T1# Wonder lands a right hook to the body.
Nice shot lands for Wonder. Vos shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Wonder sprawls well. Wonder wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Vos gets slowly back to his feet. One Wonder has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marc Vos. Vos slips a jab from Wonder. Vos feints the counter takedown. Vos keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Vos changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Wonder comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Wonder throws a hook to the side of Vos's head but Vos sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Vos steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect. Wonder stuffs the takedown attempt from Vos. Vos gets slowly back to his feet. An attempted straight right counter from Wonder misses the target.#T2# Nice takedown defense from Wonder. No joy for Vos on that attempt. Wonder lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Wonder throws a lazy right hand but Vos sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Vos drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Wonder defends it well. Wonder misses the shot to the body. Wonder jabs at Vos's body. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Wonder sizes up Vos with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Wonder swings for the body but Vos moves out of range.

Wonder gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Vos shoots in but no luck this time. One Wonder seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wonder throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Wonder throws out a powerful jab. A decent looking cross lands there for Wonder. Wonder misses the shot to the body. And Vos tries to counter it with a takedown but Wonder pushes his down on his head and steps out.#T4# Wonder swings widly with a right hand
#TD2# and Vos counters with a nice double leg into side control. Wonder won't be happy with that. Vos tries to score with some ground and pound. Wonder controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Vos throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Vos takes a little break here. Wonder wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Wonder parries the strikes from Vos easily there. Vos is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Wonder to escape.
Vos creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Wonder sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. #SU2# Vos decides to stand up, so the ref orders Wonder to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Poor timing from Wonder. Vos takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

#R1# Vos on the wrong end of a nice jab. Callegari throws a right and a left that Vos avoids nicely. Vos appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Callegari jabs Vos to the body, keeping him at a distance. Vos gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Callegari makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Callegari throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
#TD# and Vos counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Callegari is looking to stand up but Vos isn't so interested in that idea. Vos advances position into side control!#T1# Callegari tries to improve position but can't. Vos in side control, throwing shots but Callegari defends. Vos fails to land a wild elbow strike.
#SUB# Vos thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Vos in side control, just content to control the action for now. Vos working the ground and pound but Callegari is defending the strikes. #T2# Vos controlling the position. Callegari tries to buck Vos off but Vos is having none of it. Callegari felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Callegari looks to move to half guard but instead Vos has passed into mount! Damn!#SUB# Vos looking to isolate an arm here. Callegari doesn't see it coming and as Vos extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Vos!

#R1# A big right from Wonder misses. Wonder throws a looping overhand right but Vos ducks down to avoid it. No luck for Vos with that takedown attempt. Wonder lands a lovely overhand right. Wonder getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Wonder throws a lazy uppercut
#TD# and Vos counters with a single leg into guard. Wonder didn't expect that. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Vos sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Wonder's guard. Vos keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Vos is keen to just control but Wonder is a slippery customer.#T1# Vos is really struggling to control Wonder but he's trying to hold on to the position. Vos is pressing down on Wonder's thigh, looking to free his foot. Wonder is holding on for now. #SUB# Vos looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Wonder waves Vos back to his feet! Oh Vos is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! This has been an exciting period of action! Wonder scores with a hook to the body. Vos takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Wonder sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Vos's defenses. It connects perfectly with Vos's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!

#R1# Oni lands a really nice looking cross but Vos seems unphased.
Vos takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Oni connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Abayomrunkoje Oni seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Oni lands a lovely overhand right. Oni looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Nice jab there from Oni. Oni keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Oni with a jab. Oni scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Oni thumps Vos with a low kick. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Oni, as that shot connected.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Oni scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. A low kick from Oni is predictable there #TD# and Vos counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Oni is trying to escape back to his feet but Vos uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Oni really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Vos. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Vos can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Vos passes into half guard. Nemera wants to control but Vos is keeping busy.
