He's managed it... Nice work. Paplano is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Firenze! Paplano sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Firenze is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
#SUB# Paplano has isolated one of Firenze's arms. Firenze looking to fight him off but Paplano twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!

#R1##CL2# Cerrone rushes Firenze and presses him up against the cage.#BC# Firenze manages to break the clinch.
Cerrone throws a head kick that misses. Cerrone shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Firenze sprawls well. Firenze wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Cerrone gets slowly back to his feet. Cerrone uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Firenze. Firenze misses with a straight left. Vico Firenze seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Firenze scores with a hook. Firenze throws a hook but Cerrone blocks it. Firenze throws a lazy uppercut
#TD2# and Cerrone decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Firenze's guard. Firenze working a defensive guard here.
Firenze has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage. Cerrone stays in close to Firenze's body and controls the position. Firenze trying to keep a closed guard but Cerrone is proving a slippery customer.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#T1# Cerrone controlling from the top position. Firenze tries to strike from the bottom.
#SU2# Cerrone stands up from guard. Let's bang! Cerrone shoots in for a double leg but Firenze sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Cerrone staying out of range there. Cerrone displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Firenze throws out the jab. Firenze lands with a straight right. Cerrone didn't see that one coming.#CUT# It looks like Donald Cerrone has been cut.#TD2# Cerrone feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Cerrone passes easily into side control. Nice work.#SU2# Cerrone decides to stand back up. #T2# Firenze bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Cerrone's head. Vico Firenze is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.#KD# Oooooh!!! Firenze has knocked Cerrone down with a huge combo! Firenze steps away and waves a wobbly Cerrone back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!#ROC# Cerrone is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! Firenze ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Cerrone out cold! The fight is over!

#R1# Firenze looks to throw the jab but Santino is out of range. Firenze swings widly with a right hand
enabling Santino to counter with a crisp jab. #KD2# Firenze drops Santino with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Santino looks back up at him and smiles so Firenze waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
#ROC2# Santino is rocked!#CUT2# It looks like Hugo Santino has been cut. Firenze throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Santino. Oh Santino is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Santino dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Santino swings and misses with a shot to the body and Firenze counters with a right hand from hell and Santino is out cold! A vicious knockout!

#R1# Firenze thuds a left hand into Diaz's body.#KD2# Firenze sends Diaz crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Firenze is motioning to the referee to let Diaz up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!#ROC2# Diaz is rocked!#CUT2# It looks like Frank Diaz has been cut.#TD# Diaz closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Diaz lands in his opponent's guard. Oh Diaz is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Firenze is trying to control the position but Diaz postures up. Diaz stops Firenze from standing up. Diaz seems to have got his legs back now.#SUB# Diaz is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. #SUB# Diaz drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Diaz seems to have locked his on tight now - Firenze screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Diaz, as he picks up the win!
