Mott tries to clinch up but Marion circles away and keeps his distance.#TD2#
Mott fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Marion to the ground. Mott is now in Marion's guard.
Marion on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Marion tries to get out of the position.
Marion looking to control.
Mott is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Mott postures up.
Mott controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Let's hope that Mott has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Marion is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Mott seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.#T1#
Mott stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Marion swivels though and keeps the full guard. #REF3#

Marion clinches up against the cage.
Marion is trying to break the clinch but Mott is controlling him.

Mott breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Marion tries to close the distance and clinch but Mott swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

The fight stays on the outside here - Marion looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Marion gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Marion knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mott on the ground.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Marion can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Mott controls the pace.
It looks like Mott might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.#REF3#

Marion throws a body punch but Mott moves out of range.
Mott moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Marion tries to clinch there but Mott circles away.
Mott wants to counter with a clinch but Marion pushes him away.
Marion throws a right and a left that Mott avoids nicely.
Marion swings for the body but Mott moves out of range.
Mott lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.#TD2#
Mott shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. #T4#
Mott stays in close to Marion's body and controls the position.
Marion is trying to keep Mott in close.
Marion tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Marion will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Mott is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Marion doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Mott.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Mott connects with a nice short shot to Marion's temple.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Tadion Mott will probably get the nod.

Marion pushes Mott up against the cage in a clinch.
Marion looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Mott is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Marion pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Mott changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Marion fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Cheech Marion has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tadion Mott.

Mott throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Mott is cranking Marion's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Marion! He's tightened the choke and Marion is tapping out!
