Turunen working over Cuopo with some ground and pound. Cuopo looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Turunen throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Turunen not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Cuopo is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Turunen scores with a couple of nice shots. Cuopo is looking for a sweep. Turunen is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Ground and pound from Turunen. Turunen is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Turunen has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Cuopo's face.

Nope, Cuopo circles away and we're back to standing.#TD# Cuopo shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Siskauskas's guard. Cuopo throwing strikes but missing. Siskauskas is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Cuopo postures up in Siskauskas's guard and throws a big left but Siskauskas blocks it. Siskauskas utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Cuopo keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Siskauskas's head. Cuopo controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Cuopo postures up in Siskauskas's guard and throws a big left but Siskauskas blocks it. Cuopo in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Siskauskas avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Cuopo landing some decent shots from guard. Siskauskas wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Cuopo is now in half guard. Cuopo throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. #T1# Cuopo is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
