Merdian throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Rittle tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Merdian is in Rittle's guard.

and Rittle counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Merdian thinking.

I really don't envy Merdian right now.
Rittle has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Merdian's body.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
McGraugh creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Merdian's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Merdian drops to his knees and McGraugh pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
