I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!

Kyle tightens his grip and picks Rubanok up, before dumping him to the ground. Rubanok manages to land in guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kyle accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Kyle has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Kyle is on top in guard.

Kyle lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Kyle connects with a nice short shot to Tomsett's temple. #ROC2#
