Fernandez throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Fox tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Fernandez swivels and escapes. Fox shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Fernandez but Fernandez pushes him off and we're back to square one. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Silver Fox. That's going to take a lot out of him. Fernandez lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Fox circles away quickly and effectively. Fernandez will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Fox fails with a takedown attempt from distance. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Fox is defended easily by Fernandez. You can see the frustration on Fox's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Fernandez has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Fox's body.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Fox looking very determined here, making life difficult for Fernandez.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Fox. It looked like Seven was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
