Sam looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Banks is fending him off so far but Sam persists. Nope, Banks circles away and we're back to standing.
Banks looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Sam has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Advanced Fitness Inc. in the buildup to the fight.
Sam shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Banks defends it nicely.
Banks bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Sam's head backwards.#CUT2#It looks like Soons Sam has been cut.
Banks works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
