Random has closed the distance and engaged McGregor in a clinch.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
McGregor is looking to break free of the clinch but Random has double underhooks.
Random tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
McGregor can't find room to land a body shot as Random controls the action.
McGregor tries to circle away but Random has him pinned against the cage.#TD2#
Random pulls guard effortlessly.
McGregor wants to stand but Random is controlling his posture from full guard.

McGregor scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
McGregor leaves Random with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Random takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
McGregor scores with a three punch combo!
McGregor lands a nice shot that snaps Random's head back.
McGregor wants to clinch up but Random keeps it at a distance.
McGregor fails with an attempt to clinch.
Random shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with McGregor but McGregor pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Jack McGregor has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Johnny Random.
McGregor moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.#CUT#
It looks like Johnny Random has been cut.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from McGregor lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Random has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Random and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
McGregor shoots for a takedown but Random saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
McGregor jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

McGregor rushes Random with punches - Random moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Random goes down! McGregor follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!

After winning the bout, Jack McGregor thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
