#R1# Sestak feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Livers jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Liver throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Sestak stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Sestak ducks right into an uppercut from Liver. Sestak on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Liver throws a combination that misses and Sestak counters with a nice uppercut. Liver throws an ugly left hook that misses
#KD2# and Sestak counters with a combination of strikes to the head and body that crumple Liver! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!#SUB2# Liver is defending against the submission attempts here by Sestak.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sestak is keen to just control but Liver is a slippery customer.#SUB2# Sestak is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Liver doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Sestak. Sestak not landing any meaningful shots this time. Sestak sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Liver defending well though. Liver is looking to improve his position.
#T1# Liver scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Sestak manages to mount him!
#SUB2# Sestak is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Liver is surviving well by controlling Sestak's body position as best he can. Sestak trying to control but Liver is having none of it. #SUB2# Liver tries to improve his position but Sestak has taken his back! Sestak has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Liver tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Sestak pushes Liver away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Matus Sestak! Matus Sestak tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
