The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Volkov looking to score a takedown here. OcasioCortez is defending well but Volkov drives through and ends up in OcasioCortez's guard.
Volkov stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. OcasioCortez swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Volkov lands a couple of digs.
Volkov throws a big right hand that misses.
Volkov throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Volkov postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Volkov connects with a nice short shot to OcasioCortez's temple.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Eam gets a clinch.
Eam wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
OcasioCortez goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
A right handed body shot lands from OcasioCortez.
Eam tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Eam has had enough of the clinch but OcasioCortez keeps him there for the moment.
Eam has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

OcasioCortez breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Eam moves into the clinch.
Eam is trying to push OcasioCortez away but OcasioCortez has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.#BC#
OcasioCortez's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Eam tries to close the distance and clinch up but OcasioCortez swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Eam, right into the meat.

and OcasioCortez counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
OcasioCortez fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Eam looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
OcasioCortez stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Eam throws a lazy head kick
and OcasioCortez makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

and OcasioCortez counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

OcasioCortez steps in with a hook that catches Eam right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! OcasioCortez follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Eam looks absolutely devastated.
