Nice defenses there by Alder.
Wayne throws a powerful right kick. Alder tried to block low but the kick was high! Alder was taken right off of his feet! Wayne jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!

Vergys takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Mathias Alder seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Vergys.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Alder has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Creature dances in with a quick combination. Alder is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Creature snaps Alder's head back. Alder stumbles backwards against the cage. Creature steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Alder's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Alder just didn't come prepared.
