#R1# Minuto slips a straight right by Mullen. Minuto fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Mullen checks it well. Good work by Mullen as he checks the leg kick. Minuto finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Mullen connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Minuto throws a leg kick and Mullen counters with a stiff right hand. #CUT2# It looks like Manlio Minuto has been cut. Minuto avoids a punch combination nicely.

Minuto defending well as Mullen loads up on a big left hand. Minuto feinted with a counter takedown. The fighters circling - Mullen throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Mullen lands with a right hand. Minuto throws a leg kick and Minuto takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Minuto dives in and grabs Mullen's left leg, looking for a takedown. Mullen pushes down on Minuto's head and hops out.#T2# Mullen throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Minuto scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Mullen finish him?!#ROC2# Minuto is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Minuto throws a leg kick but Mullen sees it coming and moves out of range. Oh Minuto is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Mullen is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Minuto. Minuto seems to have got his legs back now. A low kick from Minuto is predictable there #KD2# and Mullen counters with a crisp right hand that drops Minuto! Mullen lets Minuto back up to his feet, looking for a finish!#CUT2# Manlio Minuto's cut is getting worse. Minuto keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
#T3# Minuto slips under a jab from Mullen. Mullen lands a nice looking body shot.
Mullen pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Minuto throws a leg kick and Mullen connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Minuto motions for Mullen to come forward. Minuto throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Minuto misses with a low kick.
#T4# Mullen with a jab. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Mullen, as that shot connected.
Minuto shoots in for a takedown but Mullen shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Mullen let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Minuto lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Mullen has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Mullen and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Mullen takes a swing at Minuto's ribcage but misses. Minuto misses with a leg kick enabling Mullen to counter with a crisp jab. #CUT2# Manlio Minuto's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Mullen blocks a low kick nicely. It seemed like Mullen was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Danny Mullen dominated that round. The cut man is working on Manlio Minuto's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. #R2# Minuto with a lazy takedown attempt and Mullen counters with a nice body shot. Mullen closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Minuto! Mullen dives in looking to finish! Minuto is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!

#R1# Gretzky feints and then cracks Minuto's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Minuto down. Minuto ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Gretzky moves away. Blaine Gretzky seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Gretzky fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Gretzky misses with a low kick as Minuto jumps back. A low kick from Gretzky is predictable there #TD2# and Minuto counters with a takedown into side control. Gretzky tries to bench press Minuto off him but Minuto keeps the position. Gretzky knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Minuto on the ground. Minuto trying to control the action but Gretzky is working from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
