That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Alexis Bruhn.

Bruhn shoots in looking for a takedown. Pollock tries to sprawl out of it but Bruhn keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Pollock manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Billings seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.

Despite the aggression on Bruhn's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Bruhn lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Billings circles away quickly and effectively.
Bruhn will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Bruhn lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Billings has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Billings and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.#T1#
