Pler tries to move to mount but Maslobojev blocks the move with his legs. #SUB2# Pler thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Still in half guard, Pler seems content to control. Maslobojev is in trouble now - Pler has advanced to mount! Pler is riding his opponent, not letting Maslobojev buck him off. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Pler is hanging on to Maslobojev's back as he tries to escape.

Pler wants to get up but he can't break Maslobojev's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Pler pushes down on Maslobojev's leg and manages to get into half guard. Pler is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Pler prevents Maslobojev from improving his position. #REF3# The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Maslobojev tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Pler paws at him with a jab and circles away. Maslobojev throws a one two combo.

Maslobojev knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Pler on the ground. Maslobojev avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Pler. Pler keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Pler thows a huge punch but Maslobojev dodges it nicely.

Maslobojev tries to bum rush Pler with a series of wild strikes but Pler uses good footwork to avoid the assault.#CL2# Pler fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Maslobojev, pushing him back against the cage. Pler is trying to force a seperation but Maslobojev has the dominant position.#BC# Maslobojev breaks from the clinch.
Maslobojev lands with a kick to the temple. Pler shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Maslobojev throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Maslobojev tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.#TD2# Pler drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Pler passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Maslobojev! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Pler controlling the pace for now.
