#R1# Abilez misses with a body shot.
Evans takes a swing at Abilez's ribcage but misses. Evans moves out of range as Abilez strikes. Evans takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Good exchange - Abilez coming out on top. Evans fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Abilez manages to avoid it. Abilez lands with a hook. Evans tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. A big right from Abilez misses. Drew Abilez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Abilez loads up on a big right hand but Evans slips the punch. Evans keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Evans feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Abilezs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Abilez pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Evans uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Abilez. Abilez misses with a wild body shot. Evans throws a hook to the side of Abilez's head but Abilez sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Evans moves out of range of the strikes. A jab from Evans misses. Jab from Abilez.#T1# Abilez throws the left hand but Evans avoids the punch easily. Abilez works the jab nicely. Evans throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Evans uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Abilez. Abilez scores with the left hand. Evans knows he should have avoided that one. Abilez bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Evans's head. Abilez dips to his left and cracks Evans with an uppercut! Abilez throws a hook but Evans avoids it easily. Abilez swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Evans throws a leg kick enabling Abilez to counter with a crisp jab. #ROC# Evans is rocked! Evans slips a straight right by Abilez. Evans is still on wobbly legs! Can Abilez finish him? Evans slips a straight right by Abilez. Evans doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Evans seems to have recovered his senses. Abilez fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Evans manages to avoid it. Evans blocks a jab. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Abilez jabbing away but nothing is landing. Evans moves out of range as Abilez strikes. Abilez fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Evans on the side of the head.#T2# Abilez lands a nice shot that snaps Evans's head back.
A telegraphed right hand from Abilez misses the target. Abilez swings widly with a right hand
and Evans counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Abilez is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Abilez throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Abilez throws a lazy right hand but Evans sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Abilez scores with a nice right hand.
Abilez cracks Evans with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Evans dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Abilez checks a leg kick. Evans throws out a powerful jab. Evans misses the shot to the body. Evans throws a series of punches but Abilez avoids them all with ease. Abilez jabbing away but nothing is landing. Abilez connects with a jab. Evans misses the jab. Abilez throws an ugly left hook that misses

and Abilez connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Evans takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Abilez jabbing away but nothing is landing. Evans lands a nice shot to the body.
Evans gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Evans tries to move into range but Abilez moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Abilez drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Evans right on the button. Evans goes down! Abilez follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Abilez gets the win via TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Drew Abilez! A relieved looking Drew Abilez thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
