The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khan fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
The fighters circle momentarily. Artucan darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.#CUT2#It looks like Temujin Khan has been cut.
Khan seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Artucan misses the shot to the body.
Artucan swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Khan shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Artucan pinned against the ropes. Artucan gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Khan connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#TD#
Khan shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Artucan manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.#SUB2#
Artucan working for a triangle but Khan defends it easily.

Khan makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Artucan escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Khan gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Khan wants to pass the guard but Artucan is keeping the position.
Khan distracts Artucan with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Khan slips nicely into half guard.
Artucan felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Artucan is in trouble now - Khan has advanced to mount!
Khan tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. #T2#

Khan working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Artucan is desperately trying to improve his position but Khan has a good base and remains in mount.

Khan is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Artucan is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Artucan flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Khan anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Artucan and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Khan slips an arm under Artucan chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Khan has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Khan is squeezing on Artucan like an anaconda would it's prey. Artucan fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Temujin Khan!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Artucan avoids the body shot from Slugger.
Slugger wants to clinch.
Slugger looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Slugger tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
The fight stays on the outside here - Slugger looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Slugger tries to clinch up but Artucan circles away and keeps his distance.
Artucan scores with a hook.
A looping hook to the body misses from Artucan. Slugger does a little dance to reset his feet.
A little feinted left hand from Slugger on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Slugger moves out of range as Artucan strikes.
Slugger tries to bum rush Artucan with a series of wild strikes but Artucan uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Slugger lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Artucan jabs Slugger to the body, keeping him at a distance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Slugger tries to close the distance and clinch up but Artucan swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Slugger showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Artucan.
A nice inside leg kick there by Slugger. That's going to slow Artucan down.

Artucan digs a good hook to Slugger's body.
Artucan is aggressively charging in as Slugger backs up avoiding any damage. Slugger tosses out a jab and Artucan runs right into it face first! Artucan is out cold! Slugger dropped down on all fours and is barking in Artucan's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Sturn Slugger!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kaiser tries to clinch there but Artucan circles away.

Kaiser gets a clinch.
Artucan tries a body shot but Kaiser blocks it.
Artucan makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Artucan stalling in the clinch.
Kaiser tries to score a body lock takedown but Artucan shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Artucan lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Kaiser breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Artucan throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kaiser.
Kaiser fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Artucan avoids it really well and circles away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Artucan lands a jab.

It looks like Koba Kaiser has been cut.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Artucan lands a right hook to the body.
Kaiser misses with a head kick.
Artucan scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

Kaiser is rocked!
Kaiser tries for a takedown but Artucan sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Koba Kaiser. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Artucan has taken the fight to the clinch.
Artucan digs a right hand into Kaiser's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Kaiser's gas tank.

Kaiser pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Kaiser fails in his attempt to clinch.
Artucan steps in with a hook that catches Kaiser right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Artucan follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Kaiser looks absolutely devastated.
