Hunt throws out a counter right but Kikuta avoids it with no problem. Kikuta scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Kikuta moves in looking to clinch but Hunt pushes him off. Hunt looks like he wants to counter punch here. Kikuta throws a jab but it's blocked by Hunt. #CL# Kikuta has Hunt up against the cage in a clinch.

That was a close round but I would say that Kotaro Kikuta will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Kotaro Kikuta's cut. #R1# Nickel bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Nickel takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Kikuta has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Kikuta tries to clinch but Nickel moves out of range. It looked like Nickel wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Kikuta throws a low kick, looking for Nickel's leg but Nickel calmly moves out of range. Nickel throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Kikuta throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Nickel counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Nickel definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. A head kick by Kikuta misses and Nickel counters with a straight right hand. A punch combination from Kikuta misses. Kikuta misses with a straight left. Nice defenses there by Nickel. Kikuta throws a looping overhand right but Nickel ducks down to avoid it. Nickel cracks Kikuta with a good jab. Nickel takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. and Nickel counters with a lovely straight right hand! Nickel paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Nickel is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Kikuta throws a lazy right hand but Coryatt sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Coryatt missing with a left hand there. Kikuta was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Coryatt lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Kikuta backs up against the cage.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Beilstein. Kikuta looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Kikuta lands with a shot to the body. Kikuta stuffs the takedown attempt from Beilstein. Beilstein gets slowly back to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Karl Beilstein. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kikuta swinging wildly here.
Beilstein has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Beilstein drops his hands momentarily and Kikuta needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Beilstein just on the top of the head. Beilstein drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Beilstein - he's done!
