#R1# Mattonen tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Abilez swivels and escapes. Mattonen with a lazy takedown attempt enabling Abilez to counter with a crisp jab. Abilez lands with a cross. #TD2# Mattonen shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Abilez is trying to defend but Mattonen finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Abilez is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. #SUB2# Mattonen is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Abilez has managed to free his arm - good work. Abilez is looking for a sweep. Mattonen is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Mattonen is trying to control. Mattonen slips an arm under Abilez chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Mattonen has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Mattonen is squeezing on Abilez like an anaconda would it's prey. Abilez fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

Mattonen has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Cozad MMA Tokyo. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one. #R1# A telegraphed takedown attempt from Mattonen is defended easily by Thinkshisfunny.#TD2# Mattonen closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Mattonen lands in his opponent's guard. Mattonen won't allow Thinkshisfunny to sweep him here. #SUB2# Mattonen drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Thinkshisfunny manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Mattonen has Thinkshisfunny in his guard.#REVR# We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB2# Thinkshisfunny has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Mattonen to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Thinkshisfunny is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Mattonen pulls down on the head and he's put Thinkshisfunny to sleep! This one is all over!

#R1# Oppo swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.#TD# Oppo feints and as Mattonen raises his hands in defense, Oppo changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Oppo tries to free his leg and advance position but Mattonen is retaining full guard. #SUB# Oppo drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Oppo jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. #SUB2# Mattonen has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Oppo can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. #SUB2# Mattonen looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
