Randleman fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Tammisto manages to avoid it. Tammisto on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.#CUT#It looks like Kyosti Tammisto has been cut. A shot to the liver by Tammisto. Beautiful body shot. Tammisto scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Randleman lands with a cross. #KD# Randleman sends Tammisto crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Randleman is motioning to the referee to let Tammisto up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!#ROC#Tammisto is rocked! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Randleman throws a monster overhand right that drops Tammisto! Randleman follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!

#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tammisto keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Tammisto lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Tammisto thuds a left hand into Veena's body. Veena seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Decent striking displayed by Tammisto there. Tammisto throws a big shot that misses. Tammisto lands with an uppercut that bounces Veena off the cage and back into range. Tammisto misses with a body shot.
Tammisto ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Tammisto misses the shot to the body. Tammisto misses with a hook. Tammisto walks into a left hand. #CUT#It looks like Kyosti Tammisto has been cut. Veena takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Kyosti Tammisto seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Veena uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Tammisto.

Tammisto has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off. Veena throws a hook but Tammisto blocks it. Veena lands a lovely overhand right. Tammisto jabbing away but nothing is landing. Veena is looking to counter punch. A combination from Veena does no damage. Donk. Tammisto catches Veena right on the button with a cross. #R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silva fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Tammisto throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Silva has a takedown stuffed. Silva has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Soul Supremacy Rio in the buildup to the fight. Tammisto throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Silva shoots for a double leg takedown but Tammisto sprawls well. He's pushed Silva's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alex Silva. That's going to take a lot out of him. Tammisto lands a nice shot to the body.
Tammisto connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.#TD# Silva throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Tammisto was covering up waiting for the punch and Silva finishes the takedown easily into guard. Silva trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Tammisto looking to hit a scissor sweep but Silva is one step ahead there. Silva throwing strikes but missing. Silva with a couple of shots to the head there. Tammisto has Silva pulled in close to control his posture. Silva slips nicely into half guard. Silva throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Tammisto on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Silva frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Silva postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Tammisto looks a forlorn figure.
Tammisto is still in real trouble! Can Silva finish him? Silva lands a big elbow - Tammisto is in trouble! More strikes from the mount and Tammisto is forced to tap out!

A low kick from Mercado misses and Tammisto makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Tammisto scores with a nice strike.#CUT# It looks like Trinidad Mercado has been cut. Mercado takes one on the chin but seems OK.
