#R1# Torquilka works the jab nicely.#CUT# It looks like Amar Ekeocha has been cut. Ekeocha looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! A left and a right from Torquilka both land. Nice combination. Left hook, right uppercut from Torquilka. Torquilka cracks Ekeocha with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Ekeocha throws a sloppy head kick and Torquilka moves out of range easily. As Ekeocha looks to move away, Torquilka throws a big counter combo but Ekeocha just gets out of the way. Torquilka lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Ekeocha at a distance.
Ekeocha tries to close the distance and clinch but Torquilka swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. It looked like Torquilka was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Ekeocha looks to clinch and Torquilka connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Torquilka definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Ekeocha wants to clinch and Torquilka counters with a lovely straight right hand! Ekeocha looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Ekeocha takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Ekeocha darts in trying to clinch and Torquilka counters with a right, left combo that wobbles Ekeocha badly! Torquilka follows up with a massive right hook, straight to the bridge of the nose that knocks Ekeocha out cold! Oh wow, what a finish! Very reminiscent of Koscheck vs Yoshida as Torquilka finished him against the cage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Qualco Torquilka!

#R1# Ekeocha defending well as Alexander loads up on a big left hand. Ekeocha tries to clinch but Alexander moves out of range. Ekeocha is looking to clinch but Alexander is avoiding it.
A jab from Alexander does it's job there.#CUT# It looks like Amar Ekeocha has been cut. Brayden Alexander seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Alexander misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Ekeocha.
Alexander with a nice cross. Alexander cracks Ekeocha with a right hand to the side of the head. Alexander throws an uppercut from hell that sends Ekeocha clean off his feet! He's out cold! Alexander stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
