#R1# Lahey fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Bosnic has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Bosnic takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Randy Lahey seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bosnic ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Bosnic changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Bosnic keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Lahey. Lahey misses with the combination.
A jab from Lahey finds it's way through Bosnic's defenses. Bosnic shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Lahey sprawls well. Lahey wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Bosnic gets slowly back to his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bosnic has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Bosnic there as he acknowledges the shot. Lahey throws a hook but Bosnic avoids it easily. Lahey connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Bosnic's hands.#T1# Bosnic chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Lahey can pounce on him.
Lahey connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. #TD2# Lahey tries to sprawl but Bosnic drives through with a takedown into half guard. Bosnic stalling. Lahey avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Bosnic. Bosnic slows the pace down in half guard. Lahey wants to get back to his feet.
#T2# Bosnic wants to control but Lahey is keeping him busy. Lahey has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Bosnic is working away from the top position though. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Lahey wants to get back to full guard.#SUB2# Bosnic is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Lahey sees it coming and defends easily. Lahey blocking the ground and pound attempt from Bosnic. Bosnic not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Well, if Bosnic is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Bosnic's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.#T3# Bosnic uses his free foot to push down on Lahey's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Lahey. Bosnic looking to finish with strikes here!
Bosnic looking to ground and pound but Lahey is blocking nicely. Bosnic prevents Lahey from getting the reversal. Bosnic wants to control the pace but Lahey is squirming around nicely. Bosnic misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
#T4# Bosnic controlling the position easily from mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. More stalling from Bosnic. Bosnic wants to take his opponent's back but Lahey doesn't allow it. Bosnic lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Lahey can't escape the position.
Bosnic sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. We've been informed that Bosnic has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Lahey is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Lahey feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Bosnics jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Lahey scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#KD# Oooooh!!! Lahey has knocked Bosnic down with a huge combo! Lahey steps away and waves a wobbly Bosnic back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!#CUT#It looks like Admir Bosnic has been cut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Lahey fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Lahey lands a jab to Bosnic's midsection.#KD# Lahey cracks Bosnic with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Lahey has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Bosnic to stand back up!#T1# Bosnic takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Bosnic on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Lahey here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man. Lahey slaps away a takedown attempt from Bosnic, before circling back to the center of the mat. Bosnic needs to keep his hands up - Lahey had a free shot at his head there.#KD# Lahey cracks Bosnic with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Bosnic looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Lahey finish him?
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Lahey drops Bosnic with a naaaaasty hook - Bosnic is in real trouble here! Lahey dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!

#TD# King shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Lahey is trying to defend but King finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Lahey wants to get back to full guard. King throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. King with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. King sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Lahey defending well though. King throwing shots but Lahey is blocking nicely. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. King throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Lahey keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. King takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. King thows a huge punch but Lahey dodges it nicely.

A quick step to the side and Lahey tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. De Vries steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Lahey. De Vries dips down and scores with a jab to the body. De Vries connects with a body shot. Tjeeerd De Vries seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Canel is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Lahey with a nice cross.#CUT#It looks like Maikel Canel has been cut. Nice body punch from Lahey. Lahey uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.#KD# Lahey cracks Canel with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Tiger moves away from the strike by Lahey. Lahey digs a good hook to Tiger's body.
Lahey has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Tiger. Tiger takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Sloppy strikes from Lahey. Those never looked like landing. Tiger has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Tiger there as he acknowledges the shot. Good shot there by Lahey. Lahey lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Tiger looks to land a body kick but Lahey moved away. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!#KD# Lahey feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Tiger sprawling to the canvas! Tiger rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Lahey finish him?!

Lahey moves into range and connects with a jab. Long throws a combination. Lahey tries to block but a couple of punches get through.#CUT#It looks like Randy Lahey has been cut. Lahey slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Nice body punch from Long. Long steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Lahey. Lahey dodges the punch combination from Long.
Lahey swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Lahey fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A telegraphed right hand from Lahey misses the target. Long lands a jab and follows it up with a massive straight that knocks Lahey out cold! Lahey is crumpled in the corner, his head only propped up by the cage! That's one for the organiziational promos right there! Wow, what a finish!

Zee looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Lahey ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Jab from Lahey.#CUT2#It looks like Moritz Zee has been cut. Zee ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Lahey moves away. It seemed like Lahey was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Lahey looks to score with a jab to the body but Zee is just out of range. Zee was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Lahey jabbing away but nothing is landing. Lahey on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Zee swings widly with a right hand

and Zee counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Lahey looks to land a right hand but Zee moved out of range. A good leg kick by Zee. Zee uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Lahey. Zee connects with a looping right hand.
Zee misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Zee connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Lahey momentarily.
Zee lands a leg kick that knocks Lahey off balance momentarily. Lahey's coach down at Hardcore Boxing & MT was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Lahey's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Zee throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Lahey throws an off balance right hand
and Zee counters with a big right hand! Oh Lahey is in trouble here! Zee follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cole throws a wild body kick that Lahey sees coming a mile off. Cole moves into range and clinches up with Lahey. Cole blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Lahey lands a left hand.
Cole blocks a body shot from Lahey. Lahey fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Cole's coach down at Catch Wrestling L.A. was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Cole's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Lahey misses with some punches.
Cole drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Lahey gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Cole is working for takedown but Lahey is calmly controlling the position for now. Lahey misses with the head strike.
Cole breaks the clinch.

Our sources have told us that Lahey has been working on his elbows in the gym. Cole drops down looking for an ankle pick but Lahey pulls his leg out and moves away.
Randy Lahey has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Johnny Cole. A jab from Lahey misses. Cole with the counter takedown but Lahey avoids it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lahey thuds his right hand into Cole's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Randy Lahey is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Excellent takedown into side control there by Cole. Cole in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Lahey stops Cole from passing to mount. Cole taking a breather here. Cole decides to stand back up. Cole steps back and let's Lahey get back to his feet. Cole fails with a takedown attempt. Lahey was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.

Cole jumps back into Lahey's guard. Cole looks winded! A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Cole accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Cole prevents Lahey from getting back to his feet. Cole throwing strikes but missing. Cole is pushing down on Lahey's leg trying to pass to half guard. Lahey is fighting to maintain full guard but Cole has managed to sneak the leg through.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Cole is trying to control the action in half guard but Lahey is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Lahey tries to kick Cole off but Cole keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Cole has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Cole escapes and gets back to his feet. A thudding body kick lands there by Cole!
Lahey misses the shot to the body. Nice takedown defense from Lahey. No joy for Cole on that attempt. Lahey throws a right and a left that Cole avoids nicely. Cole pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Lahey throws a right hand that Cole ducks under and follows up with a left that Cole also avoids with ease. Cole changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Lahey lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Cole circles away quickly and effectively. Lahey lands a glancing blow to the side of Cole's head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
