#R1# Iron tries to clinch up. Hodge looks to throw the jab but Iron is out of range. Hodge waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Iron. Iron lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Hodge falls off balance throwing a combination
and Iron counters with a body kick. Hodge wants to clinch up but Iron keeps it at a distance. Iron tries to clinch up. Hodge misses with a double jab
and Iron counters with a nice kick to the body. Hodge swings widly with a right hand
and Iron counters with a nice body kick.
Hodge throws the left hand but Iron avoids the punch easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hodge swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Iron counters with a nice body shot. Hodge looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. It looked like Iron was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Hodge. Hodge throws out a powerful jab. Iron lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Hodge misses with a shot to the body and Iron counters with a good, hard body kick but Hodge shrugs it off. Iron throws a leg kick which misses Hodge's front leg but catches the back leg as Hodge tries to avoid it. #T1# Hodge throws a poor cross that misses
and Iron counters with a straight right hand. A punch lands to the side of Hodge 's head but he takes it in his stride.#ROC# Hodge is rocked! Iron tries to clinch up. Hodge is still on wobbly legs! Can Iron finish him? Iron jabs Hodge to the body, keeping him at a distance.#CL# Iron has Hodge up against the cage in a clinch.
Hodge seems to have recovered his senses. Iron with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Iron pushes Hodge back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Iron using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
Hodge looks winded! Iron lands a knee to the head.
Iron dips a shoulder and cracks Hodge with a mighty uppercut! Hodge falls back against the cage and Iron unloads with a barrage of strikes! Hodge is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Iron screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
