#R1# AZ defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Silva Sr. Silva Sr darts in looking for a takedown but AZ gets double underhooks and turns Silva Sr into the ropes. Silva Sr throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around AZ's waist but AZ gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Silva Sr off to one side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vince Silva Sr. That's going to take a lot out of him. Silva Sr has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. AZ stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. AZ lands with a nice body punch. Silva Sr shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. AZ defends it nicely. Silva Sr closes the distance looking to clinch and AZ counters with a right hand to the body. AZ stuffs the takedown attempt from Silva Sr. Silva Sr gets slowly back to his feet. Silva Sr with a poor takedown and AZ connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.#T1##TD2# AZ throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Silva Sr tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. AZ is in Silva Sr's guard. Silva Sr avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. AZ must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. AZ in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. AZ looking to pass the guard. Silva Sr utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. #SU2# AZ gets to his feet - Silva Sr follows without any prompting. Silva Sr lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. AZ shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Silva Sr eats them both and turns towards AZ to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.#CUT2# It looks like Vince Silva Sr has been cut.#TD2# AZ closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Silva Sr to the mat! Silva Sr manages to get full guard. Silva Sr is breathing heavily. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! A big thud reverberates around the arena there as AZ accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. #T2##SU2# AZ gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. #TD2# AZ dives in and scores a takedown into Silva Sr's guard.#SUB# AZ avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
AZ stays in close to Silva Sr's body and controls the position. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. AZ wants to control from the top but Silva Sr keeps moving. #SU2# Silva Sr is working an open guard so AZ takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.#T3##TD2# AZ drives through with a takedown into Silva Sr's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Silva Sr wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and AZ manages to pass to side control. #REVR# AZ throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. AZ missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Silva Sr trying to control here.

AZ not landing any meaningful shots this time. Silva Sr wants to get back to full guard. AZ throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Silva Sr trying to control here.
AZ is looking to advance position but Silva Sr won't allow it. AZ stops Silva Sr from getting back to his feet.

Palmer AZ dominated that round. The cut man is working on Vince Silva Sr's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! #R2# AZ lands a body shot.

Silva Sr fails with the takedown and AZ counters with a straight punch to the midsection. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. AZ's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and AZ duly obliges. Silva Sr fails miserably with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vince Silva Sr. That's going to take a lot out of him.#T1##TD2# AZ shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Silva Sr manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. AZ preventing the sweep. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. AZ trying to control but Silva Sr is working from the bottom. AZ is stalling in the full guard. Silva Sr controls AZ momentarily but AZ frees himself. AZ has been the more effective fighter overall so far.#T2# AZ throws a big right hand that misses. Silva Sr is trying to keep AZ in close.
Silva Sr is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. #REF3# The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. AZ clobbers Silva Sr with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. #TD2# AZ looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Silva Sr! Silva Sr gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. AZ really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Silva Sr. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.#T3# Silva Sr is looking to improve his position.
Silva Sr is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of AZ's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take AZ's back! AZ rolls, trying to escape but Silva Sr keeps control of the position.
A lull in the action here.

AZ is trying to stand back up. #T4##SUB# Silva Sr has his arm under AZ's chin here. Game over son! Silva Sr squeezes tightly and AZ is forced to tap out!

#R1# AZ throws a nice looking combination but Bryant bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. An attempted straight right counter from Bryant misses the target. Bryant jabs AZ right on the nose. AZ blinks but takes it well. AZ throws a leg kick but Bryant moved away. Bryant digs a good body shot into AZ's ribs. Bryant throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck AZ on the side of the head. Bryant throws a jab when AZ was well out of range. AZ goes for a double leg but Bryant avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Bryant continues to drive forward. Bryant misses with an uppercut
and AZ counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Bryant displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from AZ. Nice defenses there by AZ. Bryant avoids the head kick by AZ.
AZ takes a body punch but keeps moving. AZ looks winded! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Bryant connects with a body shot that sends AZ's belly button to the back.#KD# Bryant feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends AZ sprawling to the canvas! AZ rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Bryant finish him?!
#ROC# AZ is rocked!#CUT# It looks like Palmer AZ has been cut. Bryant is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches AZ flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! AZ is out cold! Bryant holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
