AZ defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Silva Sr.
Silva Sr darts in looking for a takedown but AZ gets double underhooks and turns Silva Sr into the ropes.
Silva Sr throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around AZ's waist but AZ gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Silva Sr off to one side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vince Silva Sr. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Silva Sr has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
AZ stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

AZ throws a nice looking combination but Bryant bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
An attempted straight right counter from Bryant misses the target.
Bryant jabs AZ right on the nose. AZ blinks but takes it well.
AZ throws a leg kick but Bryant moved away.
Bryant digs a good body shot into AZ's ribs.
Bryant throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck AZ on the side of the head.
Bryant throws a jab when AZ was well out of range.
AZ goes for a double leg but Bryant avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Bryant continues to drive forward.

and AZ counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Bryant displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from AZ.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Bryant feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends AZ sprawling to the canvas! AZ rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Bryant finish him?!

It looks like Palmer AZ has been cut.
Bryant is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches AZ flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! AZ is out cold! Bryant holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
