#R1# Willen with a poor takedown #CL2# and Johnson counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Johnson. Johnson tries to circle away but Willen has him pinned against the cage.#BC# Willen breaks from the clinch.
Johnson takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Johnson throws a lazy body kick #TD# and Willen counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Willen. Willen knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Johnson on the ground. Willen trying to control the position from guard on top but Johnson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Johnson bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Willen's guard. #REVB# Johnson controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Willen is looking to stand up but Johnson isn't so interested in that idea. #T1##SUB# Willen has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Johnson is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Willen. Willen tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Johnson presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! Johnson prevents Willen from getting the reversal. Willen swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. Johnson raining down hammerfists from mount. Johnson with the ground and pound from mount. Johnson takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.#T2# Willen looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back! Johnson controlling the position well here. Willen rolled but Johnson kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
Johnson throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Willen!
Johnson is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Willen. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped.#T3# Johnson has the hooks in. Willen is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. Willen wants to control his opponent's hands but Johnson gets his hands free. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. You can see the frustration on Willen's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
#SUB2# Johnson is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Willen won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Johnson off his unconscious opponent!
