Shoes gets control of Ballsawash's arms and successfully pulls guard. Shoes will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Dookie Shoes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dervisevic misses with a few strikes there.
Shoes unleashes a big counter combination but Dervisevic bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Shoes is looking to clinch but Dervisevic is avoiding it.
Shoes takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Shoes swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Royce does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
It looked like Shoes was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Shoes.
Shoes shoots in looking for a takedown. Royce tries to sprawl out of it but Shoes keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Royce manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Shoes fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dookie Shoes. That's going to take a lot out of him.
