#R1##CL# Caldwell has closed the distance and engaged Mandinos in a clinch.
Mandinos tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Caldwell smiles and moves away.
Caldwell throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Caldwell throws a sloppy head kick and Mandinos moves out of range easily. Caldwell misses with a two punch combination.
Mandinos feints the counter takedown. No joy there for Caldwell, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Mandinos changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mandinos slips a jab and a cross from Caldwell.
Mandinos drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Caldwell defends it well. Caldwell looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Mandinos dodges the punch combination from Caldwell.

Caldwell is trying to force a seperation but Mandinos has the dominant position. Caldwell wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Mandinos has him pressed against the cage. Mandinos is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Caldwell gets underhooks to prevent Mandinos's takedown attempt.
Jake Caldwell has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kahdi Mandinos. Caldwell is pressed up against the cage. Mandinos has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Caldwell down to the mat. Caldwell avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. #CL# Caldwell gets a clinch. #T2# Mandinos looking for a takedown. #BC# Caldwell breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
#TD# Caldwell shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Mandinos manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Caldwell has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.#SUB2# Mandinos has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Caldwell should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Mandinos has tightened it up now! Caldwell should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
