It seemed like Sith was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Sith crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Gargano - the referee stops the clock and Sith gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Gargano. Sith manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Sith thuds his right hand into Gargano's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
