The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Murder feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Run fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Murder manages to avoid it.
Murder tries to clinch there but Run circles away.
Run throws the left hand but Murder avoids the punch easily.
A big left from Run misses.
Run comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Murder moves out of range of the strikes.
Murder drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Run defends it well.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Run lands with a hook. Murder tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

It looks like Mo Murder has been cut.
Run jabs at Murder's body.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Murder lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Run has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Run and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Run lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Run lands a nice hook to Murder's body. Murder takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Run keeps the fight on the outside.

Murder closes the distance and clinches up with Run, looking for a takedown. Murder pushes Run against the cage but Run circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Test Run has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mo Murder.
The crowd cheers as Run lands an impressive looking overhand right. Murder doesn't seem phased though.
Run keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Murder shoots in looking for a takedown. Run tries to sprawl out of it but Murder keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Run manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Murder accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Murder shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Run pinned against the cage. Run gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Run cracks Murder with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Run has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Murder to stand back up!

Murder is rocked!
Run steps in with a hook that catches Murder right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Run follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Murder looks absolutely devastated.
