Jay drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Jay has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Kerzner checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.#CL2# Jay darts in and clinches Kerzner up against the cage.#TD2# Jay drags the fight down to the ground.
Kerzner trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Kerzner wants to control from the top but Jay keeps moving. Kerzner works a leg free and moves into half guard. #SUB# Kerzner is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Jay is just riding it out for now. Kerzner throws a right and a left that Santos avoids nicely. Santos wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Santos keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Kerzner. Santos is looking to counter with a body kick. Kerzner wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Kerzner lands a lovely overhand right.#CUT2#It looks like Luis Santos has been cut. Kerzner finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Kuznetsov's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Kerzner falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!
