#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pallero with a body punch. A glancing blow. Nice uppercut lands for Pallero. That snapped Jo's head back.
Henry Pallero seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The fighters circling - Pallero throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Jo's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Pallero connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Jo scrambles back to his feet. A good leg kick by Jo. Jo lands a leg kick that knocks Pallero off balance momentarily. Pallero misses with a straight right. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pallero rushes Jo with punches - Jo moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Jo goes down! Pallero follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!

#R1# Dean has a takedown stuffed. Jo circles away from the clinch attempt.
Jo tries to counter with a clinch but Dean shakes him off and moves away. Dean tries to clinch there but Jo circles away.
Dean gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Jo makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Jo slaps away a takedown attempt from Dean, before circling back to the center of the mat. Jo throws a big counter head kick but Dean avoids it with no problem. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for James Dean. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nice takedown defense from Jo. No joy for Dean on that attempt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dean doesn't succeed with the takedown and Jo counters with a low kick, right behind Dean 's knee. Jo pushes Dean away with a front kick. Dean is breathing heavily. Dean tries to clinch but Jo moves away and Jo counters with a nice uppercut. #CUT2# It looks like James Dean has been cut.#T1# Dean fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Jo has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Dean is landing a low percentage of strikes. Jo thumps Dean with a low kick. Dean dives in and grabs Jo's left leg, looking for a takedown. Jo pushes down on Dean's head and hops out. Jo lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Dean throws a series of punches but Jo avoids them all with ease. Jo moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. #CL2# Jo gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Jo creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Dean is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Jo is defending well for now. Jo lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Dean or not. Jo lands a nice elbow. Jo lands a nice elbow from the clinch. #CUT2# James Dean's cut is getting worse.#T2# This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Jo lands an elbow inside that Dean shrugs off. Jo taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Jo digs a right hand underneath Dean's ribcage. Dean let out a lung full of air as it connected. Jo tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Dean avoids it. Jo creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Dean's defenses. #CUT2# James Dean's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at James Dean's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

#R1# Silva throws a leg kick that misses. Jo on the wrong end of a nice hook.#CL# Jo clinches up with Silva and pushes him back against the cage. Silva stops a takedown attempt from Jo.
Silva lands with a right to the head. Silva is defending well against a takedown attempt. A short right from Silva on the inside. #ROC2# Jo is rocked! Silva dips a shoulder and cracks Jo with a mighty uppercut! Jo falls back against the cage and Silva unloads with a barrage of strikes! Jo is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Silva screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
