#R1##TD2# Tree scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Tree is keen to just control but Taker is a slippery customer.#SUB# Taker is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Tree pulls his head out easily. Tree really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Taker. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Tree is thwarting Taker's attempts to control the position. Tree trying to control from half guard but Taker is working away. #SUB# Taker looking for submissions off his back. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tree not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. #T1# Taker regains full guard. Nicely done. Tree would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. #SUB# Taker is looking for a triangle but Tree pushes his legs off easily.
#SUB# Tree got a little sloppy there for a moment and Taker has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Tree has managed to get both his arms back between Taker's legs - danger averted.#SUB# Taker pushes a forearm under Tree's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Tree is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Back Taker!
