Tuati feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Roadss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Roads doesn't manage to clinch there - Tuati circles away.
Tuati throws a sloppy head kick #TD#
and Roads counters with a nice double leg into guard.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Roads has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
Tuati is looking to stand up but Roads isn't so interested in that idea.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roads paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Roads gets the takedown into side control.
Krynn bucks up and tries to throw Roads off but instead Roads has got his back!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Roads is landing with strikes from the back.
Roads cracks Krynn with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Krynn from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Krynn is covering up but some of the strikes from Roads are getting through and doing damage.

Krynn is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Roads cracks Krynn with a big shot to the side of the head Krynn is covering up - he's in big trouble! Roads connects with another shot that knocks Krynn out cold! Roads stands above his unconscious opponent and soaks up the roars from the crowd!
