Cent is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
A head kick misses from Cent.
Six Nine fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Cent has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Six Nine throws a head kick but Cent moves out of range.
Six Nine tries a low kick but Cent avoids it.
Cent darts in looking for a takedown but Six Nine gets double underhooks and turns Cent into the cage.
As Cent backs away, Six Nine returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.

Cent closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Six Nine 's guard.
Cent controls from within his opponent's guard.
It looks like Cent might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

That was a close round but I would say that Tekashi Six Nine will probably get the nod.

It looked like Barnes wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Cent has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Barnes.
Cent dives in for a single leg takedown but Barnes sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Barnes throws a low kick but Cent moves out of range easily.
Cent moves in looking to clinch but Barnes pushes him off.
Barnes tried to score with a low kick but Cent checks it.
