#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Loveladdy uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from White. We've been told by Loveladdy's head coaches at Temple of Illumination that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. A jab lands there for White. White throws a leg kick but Loveladdy sees it coming and checks it nicely. Loveladdy is looking to counter the offense by White and move into the clinch. White is trying hard to land a takedown here. Loveladdy sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. White is looking to chop away at Loveladdy's legs. White looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. White gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Loveladdy counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. White throws a lazy uppercut
and Loveladdy makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. White is looking to clinch. Loveladdy seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.#T1# White is looking to take this fight into the clinch. As White tries to get set, Loveladdy tries to push him back and clinch up but White manages to avoid the attempt. Loveladdy avoids the head kick by White.

White misses with an uppercut. Loveladdy saw that one coming. Loveladdy went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Frank White seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.#T2# The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. White throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Loveladdy changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Loveladdy steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from White. That one must have hurt. White misses with a takedown attempt #CL# and Loveladdy counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Loveladdy. Forrest Loveladdy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Frank White. Loveladdy lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. #BC# Loveladdy's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. A head kick misses from White. Loveladdy tries to counter by clinching up but White breaks away and moves out of range. Loveladdy displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as White throws out the jab. Loveladdy appears to be looking for a counter takedown. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. White with a lazy takedown attempt and Loveladdy counters with a lovely shot to the body. White is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent. White throws a looping overhand right but Loveladdy ducks down to avoid it. Loveladdy tries to counter by clinching up but White breaks away and moves out of range.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Forrest Loveladdy. I think Loveladdy has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Fritz throws the left hand but Loveladdy avoids the punch easily. Loveladdy ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Loveladdy appears to be looking for a counter takedown. A big left from Fritz misses. Loveladdy feinted with a counter takedown. Fritz uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Loveladdy has time to react.#KD2# Fritz lands a big head kick that sends Loveladdy tumbling to the mat! Fritz takes a step backwards and waves Loveladdy back to his feet - he wants the finish!#ROC2#Loveladdy is rocked!#CUT2#It looks like Forrest Loveladdy has been cut. Matthew Fritz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Loveladdy slips a straight right by Fritz. Fritz throws a lazy uppercut
#CL# and Loveladdy holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. #T1##BC2# Fritz manages to break the clinch.
Fritz throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Fritz throws a low kick but Loveladdy avoids it. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Fritz throws an off balance right hand
and Loveladdy counters with a left to the body. Fritz connects with an inside leg kick. Fritz pushing out the jab but it's not landing. As Fritz looks to move away, Loveladdy throws a big counter combo but Fritz just gets out of the way. Loveladdy displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Fritz throws out the jab. Loveladdy feinted with a counter takedown.#T2# A good leg kick by Fritz. Fritz pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Loveladdy appears to be looking for a big counter. Fritz throws the kick towards the body but Loveladdy avoids it. Fritz looks to throw the jab but Loveladdy is out of range. Loveladdy seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Some wild striking there from Fritz.

#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Loveladdy blocks a leg kick. Loveladdy is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. Ukkola tries to clinch up. Ukkola sets himself, and Loveladdy steps forward looking for the clinch! Ukkola avoids it this time. Ukkola attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Ukkola throws a leg kick that is checked and Loveladdy counters with a right hand to the body. Loveladdy has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Ukkola is landing a low percentage of strikes. Ukkola finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Loveladdy wants to counter the offense by Ukkola and move into the clinch position. A low kick from Ukkola is predictable there and Loveladdy counters with a stiff right hand. Ukkola throws a leg kick that is checked#CL2# and Loveladdy holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ukkola is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Loveladdy is keeping busy. Loveladdy tries to circle away but Ukkola has him pinned against the ropes.#T1# A short body shot lands from Loveladdy as the two fighters clinch.

Ukkola tries to clinch up and Loveladdy counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Ukkola tries to close the distance and clinch up but Loveladdy swats him away and circles back towards the center. Ukkola throws a leg kick and Loveladdy cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Some bone on bone action there as Loveladdy checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. A low kick from Ukkola misses #TD2# and Loveladdy counters with a single leg into guard. Ukkola didn't expect that. #SUB# Loveladdy got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ukkola has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Loveladdy has managed to get both his arms back between Ukkola's legs - danger averted.#T2# Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Loveladdy wants to pass the guard but Ukkola is keeping the position. Loveladdy wants to control from the top but Ukkola keeps moving. Ukkola can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Loveladdy controls the pace.#SUB# Ukkola looking for a guillotine here but Loveladdy defends easily.

and Loveladdy counters with a three punch combo that has McCartney backing up. McCartney nods at Loveladdy to acknowledge the strikes. McCartney misses with a few strikes there.
#TD2# McCartney shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Loveladdy napping and manages to drive through into side control! McCartney remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Loveladdy struggling a bit here. McCartney advances nicely into full mount. #T1# McCartney tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. McCartney unloading with bombs! McCartney controlling his opponent. McCartney lands a couple of good shots and Loveladdy has given up his back, trying to escape the position! McCartney is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. McCartney gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. McCartney gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. McCartney apologises and we restart here on the feet.

He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Loveladdy's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
