#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Staple misses with a series of wild punches.
Bennett seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Bennett dives in and grabs Staple's left leg, looking for a takedown. Staple pushes down on Bennett's head and hops out. Bennett fails with a takedown attempt. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Staple, as that shot connected.
Staple will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Bennett takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bennett fails miserably with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Probability Bennett. That's going to take a lot out of him. A left and a right from Staple both land. Nice combination. Vicc Staple seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.#T1# Bennett shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Staple but Staple pushes him off and we're back to square one. Bennett looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Staple swings for the body but Bennett moves out of range.

Bennett lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Staple throws a body punch but Bennett moves out of range. No joy there for Staple, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Staple tries to bum rush Bennett with a series of wild strikes but Bennett uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Bennett takes a shot right to the bread basket. Staple smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Staple misses with a series of wild punches.
Bennett looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.#T2# Staple misses with an attempted mid kick.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Staple cracks Bennett with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes. Staple lands an overhand right. Bennett lands a slapping body shot.
Staple lunges at Bennett with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Bennett's hand. Staple swats away the attempt to clinch by Bennett. Staple unleashes a big counter combination but Bennett bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Staple has worked on his takedown defense in the runup to this fight and it is paying off so far. Vicc Staple is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Staple lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Bennett circles away quickly and effectively. Bennett throws a head kick but Staple moves out of range.
A low kick from Staple is predictable there and Bennett counters with a two punch combo. Staple swinging wildly here.
#T3# Staple looks to land a combination but Bennett avoids it well. Bennett appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Staple connects with a nice looking jab.
#KD2# Staple drops Bennett with a beautiful combination! Bennett stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Staple is looking for the KO!#ROC2#Bennett is rocked! Staple lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

Bennett is looking to counter the offense by Staple and move into the clinch. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Staple just misses with a punch to the body.

Bennett shoots for a takedown but Staple saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. A little jabbing left from Staple on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Staple circles away from the clinch attempt.

Staple throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Staple throws a body shot but no joy. Bennett shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Staple defends it nicely. Bennett tries for a takedown but Staple circles away easily and Staple counters with a left and a right that stings Bennett. Bennett doesn't succeed with the takedown and Staple counters with a huge uppercut, hook combination that drops Bennett! The ref has seen enough - he's dived in to stop the fight! Brutal strikes by Staple!

#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Heikkinen lands a nice looking body kick. Heikkinen lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Heikkinen avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Heikkinen paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Heikkinen with the inside leg kick. Heikkinen thumps Bennett with a low kick. Bennett shoots in but no luck this time. Heikkinen scores with a leg kick.
Heikkinen misses with the combination.
Bennett fails with an attempt to clinch.
Heikkinen displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Bennett. Bennett is looking to clinch. Heikkinen drops down looking for a counter takedown but Bennett sprawls and moves away. Heikkinen lands with a hook. Bennett tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Bennett looks to land a combination. Heikkinen sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.#T1# Bennett tries to clinch up. Heikkinen was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Juho Heikkinen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Heikkinen scores with a jab to the jaw. Bennett shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Heikkinen pinned against the cage. Heikkinen gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Juho Heikkinen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Probability Bennett. Bennett fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Heikkinen avoids it really well and circles away. Heikkinen looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger. A nice leg kick from Heikkinen, right into the meat of the thigh.
Bennett misses with a takedown and Heikkinen makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Bennett moves forwards but Heikkinen connects with a nice, crisp jab.#T2# Bennett shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Heikkinen but Heikkinen pushes him off and we're back to square one.#CL# Heikkinen darts in and clinches Bennett up against the cage. Heikkinen lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Bennett or not. Heikkinen working some nice short punches in the clinch. A short body shot lands from Heikkinen as the two fighters clinch.
Bennett drops down looking for an ankle pick but Heikkinen pulls his leg out and moves away.
Bennett looks winded!#KD# A jab-cross combination lands for Heikkinen and sends Bennett crashing to the mat! Heikkinen follows him down to the mat - Bennett regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet! #ROC#Bennett is rocked! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Heikkinen scores with a couple of good hammerfists. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Heikkinen connects with a nice short shot to Bennett's temple. Bennett is still in real trouble! Can Heikkinen finish him? Heikkinen lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Bennett quite badly. Bennett pulls Heikkinen in close trying to recover. Heikkinen postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Bennett on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Bennett doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

#R1# Bennett lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Harrel backs up against the cage.
#CUT2# It looks like Jay Harrel has been cut. Harrel dives in for a single leg takedown but Bennett sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.#CL# Harrel closes the distance and clinches. #TD# Harrel jumps guard and drags Bennett to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Bennett passes into half guard. Harrel is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Bennett trying to control from Harrel's half guard. Harrel has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Bennett pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Harrel is keeping the position for now. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bennett showing good wrestling skills to control the position. #T1# Harrel is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Harrel on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Harrel tries to get out of the position. Bennett working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Bennett is in close to Harrel's body, working some short punches and elbows. Bennett wants to stand and escape but instead Harrel has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. #REVR# Bennett throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
#SUB2# Bennett throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Harrel escapes and throws Bennett's legs to the side, diving into side control! Harrel staying calm.#T2# Bennett is positioning himself to get back to half guard. #SUB# Harrel thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Harrel working away.#T3# Bennett is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Harrel asserts his dominance and retains side control. Harrel taking a break here but Bennett is having none of it and regains half guard. #SU# Harrel escapes and gets back to his feet. Harrel throws a shot to the body.

He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Bennett trying to control the action but Harrel is working from the bottom. Harrel has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Bennett is working away from the top position though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Jay Harrel will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Jay Harrel's cut. The referee calls time. Bennett tries to close the distance and clinch but Harrel swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Harrel tries to score a power double leg takedown but Bennett sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Harrel somewhat. Bennett lands a jab to the head.

Harrel is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Bennett can do to turn this around? Bennett is trying to push Harrel away but Harrel has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Bennett jumps guard but Harrel stands there with Bennett around his waist. Bennett gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Bennett throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Bennett looks to throw the jab but Harrel is out of range. Harrel shoots in looking for a takedown. Bennett tries to sprawl out of it but Harrel keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bennett manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Bennett moves in looking to clinch but Harrel pushes him off. Bennett tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Harrel swivels and escapes.#T4##CL# Harrel clinches up against the cage.#TD# Harrel works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. #SUB2# Bennett isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Harrel stacks Bennett on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Harrel! Bennett tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Harrel presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! Harrel blocks Bennett's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Bennett wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Harrel.

And that's the end of the fight! Jay Harrel showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Harrel, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
