Gunn turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Gunn manages to end up in side control.
Gibs parries the strikes from Gunn easily there. Gunn is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Gibs to escape.
Gunn prevents Gibs from escaping the position.
Gunn is chipping away with strikes.

We've been hearing that Gunn has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

Gunn scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Gibs is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Gunn can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!

and Glover counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Still in half guard, Glover seems content to control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Glover is looking to take a break and control but Gibs is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. #SUB#

Glover is looking for a kimura but Gibs is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Glover to get the leverage. #SUB#
Glover maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Gibs could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Glover has cracked it and Gibs is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Glover!
