#R1# Tran throws a sloppy head kick and Souza moves out of range easily. We've been hearing reports that Souza has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Tran looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Tran closes the distance but Souza moves to the side #KD# and Souza counters with a crisp one two that drops Tran! Souza thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Tran to his feet! Tran is in big trouble!#ROC# Tran is rocked! Tran doesn't manage to clinch there - Souza circles away.
Tran is still on wobbly legs! Can Souza finish him?#CL# Souza closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. #BC# Souza breaks the clinch.
Souza fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Souza dips down and scores with a jab to the body.#TD# Souza dives in and gets a big takedown. He lands in full mount and immediately unloads a series of heavy strikes! Tran has had enough and taps out.

#R1##TD2# Souza closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. #SUB2# Souza is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Souza trying to mount his opponent but Rebel defends it. Rebel has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Souza is working away from the top position though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#SUB# Rebel looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Rebel keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Souza is trying to control. Rebel wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Rebel might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB# Rebel looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Rebel is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Souza's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Souza's back!#SUB# Rebel is persistently looking for the submission but Souza is defending it well.
